Everything to Know About Ford Protect TripleCARE Plus
There is a new extended service plan called the TripleCARE Plus, and Zeigler Auto Group is here to break down everything you need to know about if it’s the right Ford Protect plan for you. There are so many times when you head home and unfortunately get a nail in the tire or a shopping cart dings your car door in the parking lot, and it seems like there’s nothing you can do about it, even though it’s not your fault. The repair bills for these kinds of things can get quite expensive. This is where TripleCARE Plus comes in.
This plan is available exclusively through Zeigler Auto Group and is offered for sale as an option at any time. TripleCARE Plus bundles three separate protection coverages into one straightforward plan, with no deductible and up to 8 years of coverage. Read on for more!
What Does TripleCARE Plus Cover?
The plan is made up of three components, each tackling a different type of common vehicle damage:
TireCARE Plus — Tire & Wheel Protection
Tires and wheels take a beating. TireCARE Plus covers the cost of repairing or replacing a tire or wheel when road hazard damage is the culprit — think nails, glass, potholes, and metal debris.
- Covers tire repair or full replacement if the tire is structurally damaged
- Covers wheel replacement if road hazard damage prevents it from sealing or holding proper air pressure
- Includes cosmetic coverage for alloy, aluminum, and steel wheels
- Reimburses up to $100 for towing to the nearest repair facility (including spare tire installation)
- Provides a rental car benefit of $60/day for up to 2 days while your vehicle is being repaired
- No cap on approved claim benefits — no dollar limit per claim
What’s NOT covered by TireCARE:
- Tires worn down to less than 3/32” of tread at the time of damage
- Carbon fiber, chrome, or chrome-clad wheels
- Cosmetic damage to tires (only structural damage is covered)
- Damage from vandalism, theft, or driving on low or no tire pressure
- Any repairs done without prior authorization
- Damage from construction zone road conditions (uneven lanes, metal plates, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear, improper wear, or dry rot
DentCARE — Paintless Dent Repair
Parking lots are full of headaches for the common driver, like door dings and minor dents. They can happen to even the most careful drivers. DentCARE uses a process called Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) to pop those dents out without touching your vehicle’s factory paint.
- Removes minor dents and dings using PDR — no repainting, no filler
- Fast turnaround with minimal time away from your vehicle
- Repairs can be done at the dealership, at your home, or at your workplace
What’s NOT covered by DentCARE:
- Dents or dings larger than 4 inches in diameter
- Damage that can’t be fixed with the PDR process
- Vandalism damage
- Any repair that would affect or damage the vehicle’s paint or finish
WindshieldCARE — Chip & Crack Repair
A small chip in your windshield can spread into a crack quickly if left unaddressed. WindshieldCARE covers the repair of chips and cracks caused by rocks and road debris, catching the damage early before it turns into a full replacement.
- Covers chip and crack repairs on the front windshield
- Repairs caused by propelled rocks and road debris are covered
- Like DentCARE, repairs can be done at the dealer, your home, or your workplace
What’s NOT covered by WindshieldCARE:
- Full windshield replacement (repair only)
- Damage to any glass other than the front windshield
- Stress cracks or cracks longer than 6 inches
- Damage caused by hail, vandalism, or neglect
Reminder: WindshieldCARE is not available in Florida.
Optional Add-On: Off-Road Coverage
If you plan to take your vehicle off the pavement, you can add optional Off-Road Coverage to your plan. This extends coverage to approved repairs resulting from off-road conditions, which standard plans typically don’t include.
Who Can Get TripleCARE Plus?
The eligibility requirements are simple:
- While it is true that this plan is typically sold during the sale of the vehicle, Zeigler Auto Group offers the sale of this plan as an option at any time
- Both new and used vehicles qualify
- Coverage starts on the date you sign and runs for the term length you select (up to 8 years)
Vehicles That Don’t Qualify

Ask Us About TripleCARE Plus When You Buy
TripleCARE Plus is available at any time, so if it sounds like something that would give you a little extra peace of mind, make sure to ask your Zeigler sales team about it while you’re wrapping up your deal. A lot of drivers don’t think about things like lost keys, minor dents, windshield chips, or tire damage until they actually happen, and unfortunately, those little issues tend to show up sooner than you’d expect.
That’s what makes TripleCARE Plus such a smart add-on for many buyers. It’s an easy, hassle-free way to protect yourself from some of the most common and most frustrating surprises that can come with owning a new vehicle, helping you save time, money, and stress down the road.
